My family and I have been going to Bodega Bay every January for the past 17 years! If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, this is where you want to be. Look into Bodega Bay & Beyond for a rental house, these are honestly the best houses you can imagine.
Not as much to go out and do or eat out at, since you don’t need much when you’re there, but here are some things we’ve enjoyed.
Things To Do
- Take a walk to the beach from your rental house (you may have to drive depending on where you stay)
- Drive to Hog Island to grab your oysters
- Take a drive to the Bodega Head
- Wine tasting at Sonoma Coast Vineyards
- Golf at The Links

- The Birds Cafe (my favorite – get the artichoke fritters)
- Terrapin Creek Cafe & Restaurant
- The Tides Wharf & Restaurant
