LEDESMABABY

I could easily answer this in one short sentence and say it’s because my last name is Ledesma and I’m the baby of the family. But I’m going to go a little more in depth on this one.

I won’t lie, that was my initial thought on choosing this name when I had to choose a username for, I think, Snapchat.

I thought, “yeah, that sounds cool. It’s easy to remember, I’ll just use it for Instagram and Twitter too.”

For the past 10(?) years, everything has been ‘Ledesmababy’. I never thought about changing it.

The name just stuck. Not just with me, but everyone that followed me.

I would go to parties and get so many comments from people who would tell me, “I almost called you ‘Ledesmababy’” or “I went to text you and typed ‘Ledesmababy’.” Not kidding.

If you’re thinking, “sh*t, I’ve done that!” Relax, I take NO offense to it, I actually love it and think it’s so funny!

So how am I supposed to change it after it’s stuck with everyone?

I’ve gotten questions every now and then if I would change it when I get married, but honestly, I wouldn’t.

Not to be disrespectful to my (future) husband or because I’m “stuck with” the name. I wouldn’t change it because I’ve made a name for myself with ‘Ledesmababy’ and I’m still making a name for myself.

I am so proud to have the Ledesma name, for many reasons. But this name is me.
