We are finally in the home stretch of this crazy year!
Who else is excited for 2020 to be over?! I am!
As we head into the last couple of seasons in this year, I thought I’d share some of my favorite fall activities!
Some may have to be adjusted, well, because we’re currently in a pandemic.
*P.S. if you aren’t wearing a mask or social distancing, what are you thinking?
Growing up, I didn’t really enjoy or appreciate the activities my mom enjoyed doing as a family as much as I do now. I always thought, “It’s just another thing my mom is forcing the family to do.”
Well, now I look forward to going to Apple Hill with my family. Haha – she’s going to be so happy when she reads that!
It’s something we’ve done every year since Logan was little. Now, we get to have Javi with us,and watch him get excited over the little things, so it is a special little thing we do and I look forward to it.
If you’ve never been to Apple Hill, I highly recommend it. There are many things to do and there’s a brewery on your way there, adults!

Here is a list of my favorite Fall activities!
- Decorate the house
- Take a trip to the pumpkin patch (I love going with my nephews)
- Go through a corn maze
- Apple Hill with the family & taking family pictures
- Carving pumpkins
- Having a picnic in the park
- Going for morning walks with the dogs
- Visiting wineries
- Attending football games (I miss being able to go to games – damn COVID!)
- Going to bonfires with friends (also miss doing this)
- S’mores nights with the fam in the backyard
- DisneyLand during the fall is really cool! (again, thanks, COVID *eyeroll*)
- Let’s be real, we’re all excited that our favorite TV shows are making a return!
- Having a hot bowl of chili
- Drinking Abuelita’s hot chocolate with hot pan dulce in the mornings
- Finding a bar that has spiked apple cider (takes me back to 230 Fifth Rooftop in NYC!)
Enjoy as many of these as possible with the current circumstances! I’m always open to more activities, so if you have any that aren’t listed on here, let me know!
